"Ahh, the old 'I already know you' trap," she laughs, taking a swig of her mead as she does so.
"And yes, though I have experience in taking the brunt of the damage I certainly don't have the correct arms for it. Not until I can proper bully a blacksmith into creating something that I'm more acquainted with, anyway." Pinya leans down to pick out a notebook that she'd purchased earlier. It't not her overstuffed Botanist's notebook by any means, but if she's going to be here for a while she might as well go about it properly.
The journal that she plonks onto the table is a simple brown leather affair, and it has clearly already been written in if the neat, legible scrawl on the first couple of pages has anything to do with it.
She turns to a new page, numbering in the bottom corner and then using her pen to put the same number on the scroll. At least that way she has some way of organising herself.
"I don't have too much information, only that the monster has been called "Ragelope" and is akin to an Antelope, or perhaps a Steinbock. What I do know is that if the Locals have deigned to call it a 'Ragelope', it's almost certainly not going to be a lower ranked hunt." She's writing in shorthand as she speaks and gestures. Pinya has always been an animated person, and it certainly isn't going to stop now.
