The Invitation
So, find a caravan and bring back a flag. Seems simple enough. I suppose I should try to find some people to go with, safety in numbers and all that. I probably shouldn't try to go on this mission alone.
[She is definitely thinking about trying to go alone. Perhaps you should talk to her and help her, before she gets in deeper trouble than she can handle. Please?]
no subject
I'll go with you.
[And, having said that, she places her plate beside hers and sits on the chair.]

Hello, A-Ting. How are you? Are you sure you want to go on this quest?
no subject
...I'm fine.
[And then she shoves some food in her mouth. Her table manners are a little lacking, sorry. At least she swallows before she talks.]
And I'm sure. The person who's asking us to do this probably cared about the people in that caravan.
[And that's reason enough for her to do this, she thinks.
She hasn't...quite grasped the concept of NPCs yet.]

It sounds like the person who offered the quest is just looking for this flag. If we do find the people form the caravan, then I'd be willing to help them... if possible. Either way, I'm running out of money and this should be an easy way to get some. It's not illegal and it doesn't endanger anyone, aside from those of us who go on the quest. You've already proven you can handle yourself. I'd love to have you along.
[Nerys looks around the Golden Deer Pub. Is anyone else going on this quest with them?]
...I totally screwed up my HTML in my last tag. Sorry!
Such is the logic of a child.]
Could there be a quest asking us to do something illegal? [Now with the prospect of a quest ahead she quickly shoves the rest of the food in her mouth in quick succession, making her cheeks bulge out like a chipmunk.]
Re: It is okay. We have all been there.
I'd hope not. I'll do anything, but I'd prefer to stay on the right side of the law here. I also would never hurt someone I love. It doesn't matter how much money I need, the only people I would ever hurt are those who deserve it.
[Her expression darkens for a moment, then she looks around the Pub again. She is calmer and smiles at A-Ting again.]

She wipes her mouth with her sleeve.]
I'm done.
[And having declared that she gets off the chair.]
Let's go.
[She's certainly impatient. Her expression is expectant as she waits for Nerys to get up as well.]

Perhaps we should look for more people to join us. Somehow, it doesn't feel right with just two of us.
[Nerys sounds unsure, but that is simply because she hates to admit that she needs other people. She would certainly rather go it alone. However, she has not stayed alive as long as she has by taking unnecessary risks. She is smart enough to know that, for some tasks, she will have to team up with others.]

It's fine. If we run into trouble we can't handle we can just run away.
[A-Ting, on the other hand, has had no one to rely on so long she doesn't think to wait for anyone else.
Also she's like. Eight. Worse yet, she's an eight year old who thinks as long as she can still move then she's not too injured.]
I AM VERY SORRY I was supposed to tag in here like 100 years ago
Isn't the whole Labyrinth supposed to be trouble-lun?
Re: I AM VERY SORRY I was supposed to tag in here like 100 years ago
Yes, it is. We would welcome your company. I am Kira Nerys. This is A-Ting.
[She points at A-Ting and gives her a look that says we need her help.]
no subject
I'm strong.
[Which is in response, of course, to the Labyrinth being trouble. But she remembered...she had been told that having more people going in the labyrinth together the better.]
We can go together.
no subject
[...but after a moment she stands up anyway.]
Let's go-lun.
no subject
Of course you're strong. I wouldn't bring you along otherwise.
[She looks at Lala]
So, you're coming with us? That's good. I am glad to have you both with me.
[Nerys stand up and she is smiling. She would never admit how much better she feels knowing that she has these two girls watching her back. She starts walking toward the door.]
Alright girls, let's go!
no subject
But she nods when Nerys declares they're moving out.]
How will we find where they are?
She had to ask.
Here we go. There is a spot that marks a staircase to level two. I suppose that is the best place to start.
[She points to the newly identified level two staircase on the map. Then she promptly starts walking again. She seems to be in a hurry now.]
